What We Believe
WE BELIEVE in the plenary inspired Word of God, we accept Scripture as infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority in matters pertaining to doctrine and conduct
(2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).

WE BELIEVE that our God is one who has revealed Himself in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible, the Eternal Godhead
(Matthew 28:19; 2Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 2:9).

WE BELIEVE in the creation and fall of man as a result, sin came into the world and that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God
(Romans 3:23; 5:12, 14, 18)

WE BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, died for our sins, buried and rose again, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father, His second coming to receive His church
(Luke 1:26-35; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Peter 3:22; John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
WE BELIEVE in salvation of sinners through godly sorrow that worketh repentance, by grace through faith we receive forgiveness of sin, that confession with our mouth and believing in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead produces eternal life
(Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 10:9,10; Hebrew 9:22; John 5:24)
WE BELIEVE in water baptism by immersion, it is symbolic of the believers identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection, Holy Communion (The Lord’s Table) for believers, that the bread and wine are symbolic of the body and blood of Jesus Christ
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2: 38; 19: 5; Roman 6: 4; Matthew 26: 26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-27)
WE BELIEVE in the ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the operation of the Gifts of the Spirit and that one or more is provided to every believer as He wills
(John 20: 22; Acts 1:8; Romans 8: 9-10; 1 Corinthians 12: 4-11; 1 Corinthians 14: 1; Galatians 5: 16-25)
WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift and real experience received at or subsequent to salvation with the accompanying evidence of speaking in other tongues
(Matthew 3: 11; Acts 2: 1-4; 2: 38; 8: 14-17; 19: 1-7; 1 Corinthians 14)
WE BELIEVE in eternal life for the believer and eternal punishment for those who die in their sins without accepting Christ
(John 3: 16; 5: 24; Mark 9: 43-48; 2 Corinthians 5: 10; 2 Thessalonians 1: 9; Hebrew 9: 27; Revelation 20: 10-15)
WE BELIEVE that there is one true universal church “the body of Christ” composed of believers in many local churches around the world and Jesus Christ is its Head. The mission of the church is to worship God and disseminate the Gospel to the world
(Matthew 18: 15-20; Acts 8: 4; 1 Corinthians 12: 12-28; Colossians 1: 18)
